Drive to El Paso

I went to El Paso, TX this past weekend to visit my best friend Aubrey. She moved there a couple months ago when her husband was based at Fort Bliss. I'm mad I didn't take pictures while we were piddle paddling around, but here's some photos from my drive. They aren't very good, but appreciate the art! They were taken one-handed! Going 90 MPH! Now that's talent!

 I sat in this same spot in traffic for about 30 minutes. Thought I'd take a picture of this tree I was sitting next to. 

 This is my favorite. I like the rolling hills, the beautiful sky, and the bit of road.

 This is a house at Fort Bliss. Aubrey said these are the commander houses, or something like that. The base was incredible!

So that's that. Had a great time. Definitely flying next time. It was fun to drive once!

Well, since last Friday I've been hitting the gym pretty consistently. I didn't say hard, because I could be working out harder, but I have been going everyday.  I had Margot almost 6 months ago and I still have about 15 lbs before I'm pre-Margot weight. Guess what?? From last Friday to today, I have lost 3.8 lbs! Yay me! I've always been a healthy eater, so it was mainly just the exercise that's new.

I might have ruined it all today though. Skyler stayed up past 11pm last night making sugar cookies. Doesn't he know I'm trying to fit into a bikini this summer?? And they're not even that great! Very hard and  crunchy, but I keep eating them anyway!

We also made some Valentine cards today. This is the one I made Sky. It's not all scrapbooked out or anything. I will admit I got a little bored after a few minutes, but it's the thought that counts right??

These are a pair of neon green socks I bought. They came with some neon pink, black, etc. They were my gym incentive. I guess it worked! Hope I didn't destroy all my progress with those crunchy cookies! 

Mountains, and MacBooks, and Cupcakes oh my!

Hello all you!

I have been doing a lot lately! The spring semester of school started about a month ago, I'm in it full time, so the workload keeps me busy! I've been hiking a lot as well, not this past week though, its been soooo cold!

That is one of my best friends Billy, we're hiking at Usery Pass. Its only a few miles from my apartment.

Recently, I also bought a new computer! I grew up with my dad loving Macs. We had an Apple each time we had a computer in the house. So I was extremely excited to own my OWN MacBook! I love it!

Today Harper and I made cupcakes thanks to my Mom for bringing us eggs! I wanted to make cupcakes but, didn't have any eggs! It was also 29 degrees this morning, so I really didn't want to go out just for eggs! My mom brought some over just for us! The cupcakes turned out great, and were really cute! Harper had a great time eating them.
